An introduction to the Half Century of Progress.

The Village of Rantoul, Illinois and the I&I Antique Tractor and Gas Engine Club are teaming up to return this exceptional event to Rantoul. First held in 2003 to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of the Farm Progress Show and expanded in 2005, the turnout of visitors and vintage machinery at both events far surpassed the organizers’ dreams.

With 300 acres of crops to harvest and plow, you'll see vintage farm equipment working as it was intended, and not just for a few minutes at a time. Especially focusing on the vintage machinery of the 1950's and 1960's, the Half Century Of Progress III will have corn pickers, combines, tractors, plows and much more. The world record plowing demonstrations with the 60 bottom plow two years ago may be hard to top, but just wait! Organizers of the 2007 show promise that you will not be disappointed. A top-notch tractor pull, a tractor ride, impressive static displays and much more will await those who come to Rantoul in August.

Make plans to visit this premiere vintage farming event. It'll be the one you'll remember for years!
